Urban Vegan Kitchen

Comfort Food Done Right!

Urban Vegan Kitchen is the rebel child of Blossom Du Jour's founders - an edgy spin on vegan comfort food, giving off rocker vibes combined with animal activism and the perfect hangout spot in the West Village.

With a unique combination of hipster bar (with a lounge downstairs) and animal pictures on the wall that resemble family portraits, UVK is definitely a welcomed hangout spot on Carmine St. which promises to pull all kinds of cool activists and modern vegans, basically revolutionizing the stereotype of plant-based eaters.

THEIR PHILOSOPHY

Urban Vegan Kitchen is the new vegan experience developed in 2016 by the minds behind New York City’s largest vegan fast food-chain, Blossom Du Jour. The restaurant offers semi-sophisticated comfort food and desserts in a laid back, funky lounge, and cafe dedicated to highlighting some of the the born and made NYC creatives who have inspired ownership to do what they do. The acclaimed restaurateur has developed the perfect recipe, a combination of upscale comfort food à la plant based in a high-vibration inclusive environment that seeks to break the stereotypes associated with vegan food.

We may not be protesting with signs, but we’re doing it through food. It’s not just food, it is a movement.
— Pamela Elizabeth for Paste Magazine
